What is a Bulk Cooking Oil Management System?
A complete Bulk Cooking Oil Management System is an efficient, end-to-end service that delivers fresh cooking oil in bulk and also collects the used cooking oil for recycling in a streamlined service cycle.
How much will the entire set-up cost me?
All our standard oil storage units are provided on a free loan basis. You only pay for your fresh cooking oil supply. There are no added distribution costs to consider and no contracts. We want you to stay with us because you’re satisfied with the service, and not because you’re locked in.
How does the cooking oil delivery and collection work?
All our deliveries and collections are scheduled to suit your requirements. A dedicated Business Development Manager will schedule your service based on your business’ needs.
Does Cookers Assist with Used Oil Removal?
Being an end-to-end oil management system, Cookers also provides used cooking oil storage units which can be used to store cooking oil. Our specialised trucks will then collect your used cooking oil free of charge.
Where does Cookers source its oils from?
Having a wide range of cooking oils, we strive to source the majority of our oils locally. However, due to the unavailability of certain non-native oil crops, we also source some of our oils from overseas.
Are your oils locally refined?
Yes, all our bulk oils are refined locally and delivered fresh to our customers, within 14 days of refinement.
What food safety and certifications does Cookers have?
Cookers has a number of certifications including SQF, BSI, HACCP & GMP, Kosher, Halal & Organic certification under their wing. For more information, click here.
What does SQF mean?
SQF Certification is a globally recognised food safety program and is a recognised Global Food Safety Initiative (GSFI) accreditation. For more information, click here.
What does ISCC mean?
The International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) is a voluntary sustainability certification scheme enabling Cookers to demonstrate that they are producing biomass in a manner which meets community expectations for environmentally, socially and economically sustainable production.
What happens to the used cooking oil after collection?
Your used cooking oil is dewatered at a Cookers depot through a certified line of processing. It’s then sent out for recycling to be reused in other industries such as Biodiesel.
What support or training do you provide?
Your dedicated Business Development Manager will provide a detailed induction of our innovative Cooking oil management system upon installation. We also have a number of training videos on the Cookers website (under the Support menu) and QR Codes on the unit labels that demonstrate our systems thoroughly. Training refreshers for current and new staff can also be arranged upon request.
What do I do in case of an emergency?
