XLFRY Oil is a specifically formulated blend of specifically picked high oleic vegetable oils for deep frying or for use in packaged, long life goods. It has been specially mixed to extend its longevity and to reduce gumming, improving frying performance. Unobtrusive and with a long shelf-life, this oil is ideal for use in packaged goods such as potato crisps or cereals. Its high viscosity, neutral flavour and lack of odour mean that this subtle oil will not overpower your foods, making it ideal for deep frying. Australian oils are the blend of mostly harvested oil in Queensland and New South Wales.

Pressed from the seeds of cottonseed, this is one of the country’s most popular oils. Because it is nut- and dairy-free, Cookers’ cottonseed oil is a heavy-duty cooking oil suitable for most diets. Vegan-friendly, our cottonseed oil is Halal and Kosher-certified. A diverse, neutral oil, cottonseed oil can be found in vegan and non-vegan foods, including packaged chips, fries, cereals, salad dressings and spreads. Because it is a long-lasting, value-for- money oil that is also safe on the skin, cottonseed oil is also often found in moisturisers and soaps.

High Oleic Oils

High Oleic oils are oils with high levels of monounsaturated fats, such as olive oil. Olive oil, however, also has a high amount of polyunsaturated fats, making it not very shelf-stable -- packaged foods featuring olive oil will not last as long as those made with an oil with low levels of polyunsaturated fats. Grain-based high oleic oils, such as those used in our XL Fry blend, have high levels of monounsaturated fats and low levels of polyunsaturated fats. As a result, they are more shelf-stable, meaning they last longer.
